<\/a>I am about to give birth.<\/p>\n I am about to give birth to a beautiful, shiny, shimmering new book. It’s called Do-Ahead Dinners and is all about cooking for friends and family without the stress by, as you may have guessed, cooking the majority of the stuff ahead. There are 150-odd recipes (hyphen optional), gorgeous photographs by Yuki Sugiura, and glorious food and prop styling by Valerie Berry and Wei Tang.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n It’s been a while in the making. Ever since starting the Secret Larder three and a half years ago, I wanted to do a book based on the food I cooked at it, and here it is. I’m dead excited about it, and would be utterly delighted if you saw your way to buying a copy.
