I am about to give birth to a beautiful, shiny, shimmering new book. It’s called Do-Ahead Dinners and is all about cooking for friends and family without the stress by, as you may have guessed, cooking the majority of the stuff ahead. There are 150-odd recipes (hyphen optional), gorgeous photographs by Yuki Sugiura, and glorious food and prop styling by Valerie Berry and Wei Tang.
It’s been a while in the making. Ever since starting the Secret Larder three and a half years ago, I wanted to do a book based on the food I cooked at it, and here it is. I’m dead excited about it, and would be utterly delighted if you saw your way to buying a copy. You can pre-order one here (it’s officially out on 15th August), or come to one of the events that are happening around the book’s publication. More of which to come…
Would love to be at the book launch – unfortunately its a touch far to fly. What a perfect theme for a new cook book, everyone would love stress free dinners and to help this would be “do-ahead”. Loving the look – especially those stuffed zucchini flowers. No doubt this will be available soon.
