ahhh the Havelock… bless… used to work around the corner and would treat ourselves on a good day when clients said yes… haven’t been for years so glad to hear it’s still good… and I so agree about the toilets… I always go and check them out wherever I am… a nice loo is a reflection of what the proprietor thinks of the customer!

I lived literally opposite this pub for 6 months. Spent a shitload of money in there. I remember nearly crying at the price of the beer (I’d just moved to London). Lovely place though.

A typically lovely if all too rare review. On the subject of loos, I think this *is* a big deal; too many places throw a cheque at the dining room and gussy up the menu only to completely neglect the lavs.

Please don’t move in though; I can just about get my head round N1, but W14 is just a postcode too far for me to contemplate!
