Been using a similar recipe ever since I visited a friend in the States. Half white sugar and half demerara works nicely. Best served warm from the oven, with butter. Mmmmmmm.

This looks lovely! We’ve been gifted many courgettes from work colleagues and I’m not one to turn down free food. They’re fantastic griddled and chucked into pasta (http://designerdishes.blogspot.com/2010/07/summer-pasta.html), grated into salad (http://designerdishes.blogspot.com/2010/08/courgette-salad-with-toasted-seeds.html) or roasted and stuffed (http://designerdishes.blogspot.com/2010/08/stuffed-marrow.html). I haven’t yet tried anything sweet so I’ll have to give your recipe a go!
