What?
Gaucho are hosting an evening with Matthew Fort and Tom Parker-Bowles in celebration of the chilli. The duo have designed a menu with Gaucho chef Fernando Trocca which promises some sweat-inducing delights. The night will kick off with a chilli cocktail and progresses through 5 courses, each increasing on the Scoville Scale. Starters will include Gaucho’s legendary tiradito and ceviche with alternating degrees of chilli before moving onto a main course of Gaucho’s fine steaks and chillis. Sweeter combinations will follow with an opportunity for guests to try chilli and chocolate and chilli ice-cream. Each course will be served with wines matched by Gaucho’s Wine Director Phil Crozier. Guests who complete every course will receive a Scoville Gaucho certificate signed by Fort and Parker-Bowles.

I’ve been lucky enough to be invited along, so hope to see some of you there through the sweat and tears, J
I’d go if I had the moolah.
I’d out-eat you all chilli-wise.
I don’t doubt it…I have a feeling I’ll be sweating like a bison after the first course.
This looks brilliant, wonder if I can drum up the cash to go?
Be wary when visiting the boys room after poking all those chillies around the plate.
Come come!
Been there before my man. Goodness, gracious, great etc etc. Ouch.
Sounds like fun, not sure I’d reach terribly high on the scoville scale! Good luck dude
Not sure I will either, we’ll see. Have a great time in Denmark, x
Best get a toilet roll in the freezer before you go…
Telling me….
Freezer, eh? Nice tip.
